1868 Circle Fund
- Yearly disbursements from this fund will be determined as part of the annual budget process. The personnel team input on salaries and benefits will be considered during this process. This amount will be placed in the budget for board approval.
- Since we anticipate that the need to use the fund will vary widely from year to year, the team will keep the goals of the fund in mind when coming up with an amount to be drawn.
Goals of the fund (in order of importance)
- Ensuring that we have a full time minister at the UUA recommended salary at a minimum of the 90% range.
- Ensuring that our staff is compensated at UUA recommended salary at a minimum of the 90% range – or a 2-3 year plan to get to the 90% range
- Giving a staff member more hours should it be needed, or hiring a new staff position should it be determined to be needed.
Throughout the year, especially at year end when charitable contributions are likely to be made and at stewardship time, an ask for continued contributions should be made by the stewardship team.
