Renting Space on the UU Church of Kent Campus

When we built Hobbs Hall in 2021 it was “Not for Us Alone.” Our vision for our expanded campus was to live out our mission to “inspire love, seek justice, and grow in community,” not just for our congregation, but also for our neighbors in Kent, Portage County, and beyond.
Since opening, Hobbs Hall has hosted numerous weddings, memorial services, showers, family reunions, markets, community dinners, concerts, fundraisers, as well as educational and advocacy events hosted by our community partners such as the Kent Environmental Council, the Portage County NAACP, the League of Women Voters, just to name a few.
We have also renovated our historic (and acoustically sublime) church sanctuary for more intimate or sacred events.
If you are looking for a venue for your special, please consider a space on the UU Church of Kent campus! If you are wanting a sacred event (such as a wedding, child dedication, or memorial service) and don’t have a church home, we might also be of service. Use the form below or email [email protected].
Thank you for your interest! If you would like to schedule a tour of our facilities or have any questions regarding rentals, please contact us below! Please allow a minimum of two business days for a response.
