Peace Circles

When we tell our stories from deep inside
And we listen with a loving mind
And we hear our voices in each other’s words
Then our heart is in a holy place.

                                                             #1008 Singing the Journey

The Targeted Ministry Team is sponsoring a program  of one-session “Peace Circles.” As a part of our self-directed interim work these circles will provide an opportunity for members and friends to share personal experiences and feelings about this time between settled ministers, facilitated by a trained team of lay ministers and other highly trusted leaders.
To participate in a circle, sign up with your name, phone number and a good time to call. One of the facilitators will contact you so you can be matched with a circle that is the best fit.

Building Community in Times of Turmoil – February 25, 2018

Led by the Summer Institute Committee on Ministry and Worship Associate Kathy Kerns

We make — or break — our relationships through our words and actions. In some situations, community members who felt unheard or hurt during personal conflicts may have left our community. As people who have made promises to each other, how can we respond more skillfully to the needs of all? Building Beloved Community requires many tools. In this worship service, we will lift up the basic practices required for community building within and across our home congregations. This worship service will be presented by members of the Summer Institute Committee on Ministry (SICoM) who are charged with building awareness of covenantal practices at SI and within our congregations.

Sunday services are offered at 9:45 and 11:30 AM with Nursery care available during both services.
