Adult Hogwarts is for the young at heart aged 18 years and better.  We’ll start our day with a sorting ceremony followed by a sampling of magical classes, light lunch, and a bit of house time.

Prefect/Apprentice Retreat

June 10, 2017
12:30 – 4:30pm
Held at the Masonic Center
Open only to youth registered for the Summer Session

Attendance is required for Prefects and Apprentice Professors registered for the Summer session.  Lunch will be provided.

We will

  • Review Roles and Responsibilities
  • Sign the Code of Ethics and Hogwarts Volunteer Covenant
  • Enjoy team building and leadership activities
  • Explore the themes and activities that will be presented during Summer Session


Summer Hogwarts for Children

June 22-25, 2017
Due to limited space, registration is available by invitation only

We will continue our Goblet of Fire theme with our Try-Wizard Champions.  By training our minds to think in terms of try and result instead of success and failure, we are empowered to set goals, try new things, and learn from our results free from fear of failure.

Kent PotterFest

With the help of Main Street Kent, downtown Kent is transfiguring itself into a world of wizarding magic.  Join us for the 2nd annual Kent PotterFest.  Check the schedule of events and location maps to find us.  Here’s a hint about some of the mischief we’ll be managing…

  • Vending booth (fund raiser)
  • Leading classes for Defense Against the Dark Arts and Potions
  • Judging Costume Constests
  • Partnering with the Kent Wells Sherman House to provide the Room of Requirement with free activities for youngsters
