Rev. Melissa Carvill-Ziemer and Worship Associate Kristofer Sperry – We often talk about the fact that ours is a religious tradition which values and promotes shared ministry. We talk less about learning to lead in our shared ministry and even less about what it takes to lead well. Whether you consider yourself a leader or not, this service is intended for you.
Rev. Melissa Carvill-Ziemer and Worship Associate Christie Anderson – As we honor the legacy of a man who changed our nation, we will consider what is still required of us if we are to live into our commitment of becoming an anti-racist, anti-oppressive, multi-cultural religious association. Come celebrate, remember, reflect and dream.
Mac Goekler and Worship Associate Susan Goekler – Our UU denomination has embarked on a four-year study action mission to discern our UU commitment to peacemaking. We are well into our third year of this effort. This is our first time that we have taken such an undertaking and the results have been very enlightening. We want to share with you some of our experiences and insights as Mac is on the UUA Peacemaking Core Team that has been facilitating this endeavor. Our congregation is now being asked to provide its input into the Peacemaking Statement of Conscience proposal.
