A multi-platform service led by Rev. Steven Protzman and DRE Colleen Thoele.
In a small village, a winter storm washed away the bridge across the deep gorge and the villagers were isolated. They needed to build a new bridge. As we celebrate the arrival of spring as a community of all ages, we will visit the village and help them build a new bridge. As we do, we’ll reflect on the bridges we build to one another and what our bridges need to be strong.
Join us for multi-platform Sunday service at 10 AM. We’ll gather both in person and via Zoom. For those joining via Zoom, our meeting room opens 15 minutes prior to the start of the service (at 9:45 AM) for weekly announcements. We request that everyone joining the service please display your first and last name. Thank you!

Writer Madeleine L’Engle says that “to be alive is to be vulnerable”. We may think of vulnerability as a weakness, but what if it is actually a strength that helps us be more human? This service will explore March’s Soul Matters theme “The Path of Vulnerability” and invites us to see vulnerability as a gift to be given, even though it is risky, and a means of becoming more connected with others.

We often use the words of James Vila Blake for our chalice lighting: “Love is the spirit of this church…” Have you ever stopped to think about what that means? What is this Love? What does it ask of us? As we complete our annual pledge campaign and celebrate our shared commitment to this congregation, we’ll reflect on the Love that brings and holds us together and calls us into fullness of life.
