Peacemaking – Building a Culture of Peace, January 4th, 2009

Mac Goekler and Worship Associate Susan Goekler – Our UU denomination has embarked on a four-year study action mission to discern our UU commitment to peacemaking. We are well into our third year of this effort. This is our first time that we have taken such an undertaking and the results have been very enlightening. We want to share with you some of our experiences and insights as Mac is on the UUA Peacemaking Core Team that has been facilitating this endeavor. Our congregation is now being asked to provide its input into the Peacemaking Statement of Conscience proposal.
