To Come Round Right

Sunday, September 24, 2023 at 10 AM in Hobbs Hall

A multi-platform service led by Rev. Steven Protzman and Worship Associate Elaine Bowen.

Hymn #16, “Tis a Gift to Be Simple” says that “till by turning we come round right.”  What does it mean to come round right?  On this Jewish holy day of Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, we will reflect on the Jewish yearly ritual of naming failures and mistakes and then seeking to make right the harm that has been done to others as a practice that can help us grow spiritually.

To Build the Common Good

Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 10 AM in Hobbs Hall

A multi-platform service led by Rev. Steven Protzman and Worship Associate David Weaver.

If we truly believe in the power of Unitarian Universalism to transform and heal our world and build the beloved community, it’s important to begin the process of transformation in our congregation.  As we gather together once again after our summer adventures, we will reflect on what being in community and in covenant means and how our covenant of right relations asks of us in order to be welcoming and inclusive.
