Rev. Melissa Carvill-Ziemer and Worship Associate Elaine Bowen – As we approach the time of year when our thoughts turn to giving, we will take time today to consider the art of receiving. How can we cultivate the spirit of joyful receiving in our own lives? The special collection today is for the Minister’s Discretionary Fund. The MDF exists in order that our minister has funds immediately available to assist those who may be in desperate need. The MDF is funded solely by contributions.
