We are in the heart of the winter, having reached the half way point between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox. It is time, as one writer says, to “step onto the bridge that leads us from winter to spring.” To mark this moment as the earth begins to stir, we will celebrate some of the various holidays and holy days of this time of year, including Imbolc, St. Brigid, Candelmas and of course Groundhog Day.
