Tom Rhodes writes: “Now is the time of gathering.  From the scattered drops and rivulets of our individual lives we come together.”  As we return from our summer adventures, this festive service of ingathering, rededicating the sanctuary, and water communion invites us to bring ourselves with our gifts and passions, our hopes and dreams to this community and join our lives together once again.  Please bring a small amount of water for the water communion ritual.
