Uniting in Witness
Speaking Courageously
Collaborating for Freedom
Adults and youth of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Kent (UUCK) are working energetically to raise awareness of the urgent need for racial justice and to identify congregational actions aimed at dismantling racism. As we continue to learn, congregational members are passionate about and committed to addressing the culture of white supremacy manifested within society’s institutions and individuals.
Links below provide information about the mission, goals and representative efforts undertaken by our Race for Justice Action Team (R4J). For more information or ways to join in, please contact us (see link below for contact information). Although R4J is the mission-driven force, it’s work does not reflect the full extent of the efforts of other committees and individuals in our congregation who also engage in racial justice work.
