A Kent State University English Professor in 1970, Barbara Child was on the KSU Commons that bright yet terrible Monday afternoon of May 4.  She returns often to Kent to commemorate the day, however last year considered staying home. Plans changed and Rev. Barbara was honored to speak at the 2019 Commemoration in tribute of Jeff Miller, one of four lives ended May 4, 1970.  This morning, Rev. Child will reflect on coming back both last year and this, the 5oth anniversary of that fateful day.
