Journey Toward Women’s Equality

Woman suffrage headquarters in Upper Euclid Avenue, Cleveland

Sunday, August 23, 2020

A virtual service led by Rev. Christie Anderson, Kathy Kerns, and Vivien Sandlund.

The road to freedom and equality can be long, and the journey can yield both successes and disappointments.  Today’s service marks the 100 year anniversary of women gaining the right to vote nationally.  We present the exciting story of the women’s suffrage movement, and reflect on the longer women’s journey toward full equality in American society.
